About Golden Moments Media
At Golden Moments Media, we believe every senior deserves opportunities to laugh, connect, reminisce, and feel engaged—regardless of age, physical limitations, or cognitive challenges.
Golden Moments Media was founded by Joshelle Birch, a senior living professional who works closely with older adults in assisted living and memory care communities. Through her daily interactions with residents, families, caregivers, and activity professionals, she noticed a common challenge: finding fresh, meaningful, and senior-appropriate engagement materials that residents genuinely enjoyed.
Many available resources felt either too simplistic, too clinical, or disconnected from the life experiences of today’s seniors. Residents deserved activities that respected their age, celebrated their memories, and encouraged conversation, laughter, and social connection.
That realization inspired the creation of Golden Moments Media.
How It Started
What began as a few custom comics and activities created for residents quickly became something much bigger.
Residents laughed at the stories, shared memories sparked by familiar themes, and eagerly looked forward to the next activity. Staff members appreciated having engaging content that required little preparation while still creating meaningful moments throughout the community.
Seeing the positive impact firsthand, Joshelle began developing an expanding collection of senior-focused comics, activity books, coloring books, discussion guides, and engagement resources designed specifically for assisted living, independent living, skilled nursing, and memory care communities.
Today, Golden Moments Media serves as a growing source of creative engagement materials that help residents stay socially connected, mentally stimulated, and emotionally engaged.
